Home to only 3,500 people, as well as the state’s single adobe courthouse, Hudspeth County still feels like the wild west. The County contains approximately 4,500 square miles of nearly undeveloped land, including the Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
This particular lot is surrounded by wide open space. There are no known restrictions on the parcel so it could be used for a variety of potential uses, such as off-grid living, camping or adventure sports.
About 1 hour and 40 minutes from the Guadalupe Mountains National Park, the lot is a good stopping point for outdoor enthusiasts. According to the National Park Service, Guadalupe Mountains National Park “protects the world’s most extensive Permian fossil reef, the four highest peaks in Texas, an environmentally diverse collection of flora and fauna, and the stories of lives shaped through conflict, cooperation and survival.”
The lot is also about 2 hours and 30 minutes to El Paso.
We haven’t been to the lot ourselves, but based on satellite images, it does appear to have access via a dirt road – and you will probably need a 4×4 to access it.
