ABOUT TIERRA GRANDE
Tierra Grande is a subdivision within Valencia County, New Mexico. As part of your purchase of this lot, you will buy into 14,000 acres of permanent open space, conserved and maintained by the Tierra Grande Improvement Association. The area also borders the Manzano Mountains, which has many trails for hiking, backpacking and horseback riding. The area is known for the beauty of its night sky, which has been declared by New Mexico as one of the states Most Endangered Cultural Resources.
ABOUT BELEN
Belen is only 17 minutes away from Tierra Grande and is geographically at the center of New Mexico. There is a commuter railroad to Albuquerque and Santa Fe in Belen and several festivals throughout the year. The total population is around 7,000. Property values in Belen and Valencia County are likely to see a boost due to the upcoming construction of a Facebook data center in Los Lunas (15 minutes outside of Belen and 30 minutes from Tierra Grande). In addition, Los Lunas was recently awarded a federal grant to build water infrastructure out to its new BNSF Central Rail Park. The construction of the rail park and its attendant infrastructure should bring lots of jobs to the area.
