Consisting of 3,007 deeded acres with an additional 640 adjacent-to that is actively listed. Located in one of the most biologically diverse areas of the nation, the Elbow Creek Ranch is known for its wildlife including Boone and Crockett trophy bull elk bobcats, mountain lions, upland game bird, and plenty of both white tail and mule deer. Water to the property is provided by a stock tank filled by an 80 foot deep well, multiple seasonal stock reservoirs, and springs. The habitat is owner-rated for year-round grazing for 150 pairs but has historically been used for summer grazing, and for many years the owners have leased an additional 120 acres of landlocked/unfenced private pasture on a year-to-year basis. Its close proximity and easy access to Red Lodge and Billings, Montana, as well as private access to 700 acres of landlocked BLM make this a conservationists dream.
