Gothnenburg, Nebraska, Dawson County
Buying and selling land is a big decision that affects families, operations, and legacies for years to come. Hi, I am Koby Rickertsen. My connection to the land started early on the family farm in Lincoln and Dawson Counties in Nebraska. Before any of us were ten years old, my dad took my brother, two cousins, and me to an agronomy class. He put us to work as field scouts, and I earned a dollar an hour learning the soil and crops from the ground up. After high school, I served thirteen years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force. I met my wife during those years, and we returned to Nebraska to raise our two children and stay rooted in agriculture. That foundation led us to build and later sell a successful real estate brokerage, sharpening our focus on landowners who deserve better service. Today I am Founding Partner, CEO, and Managing Broker of Ironhorse Land Company, a brokerage focused on farm, ranch, recreational, and development land. I hold the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, the top credential for land professionals, and I am a member of the REALTORS Land Institute. I am licensed across Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. I also host the American Land Seller Podcast to share real insights on land markets and transactions. Land is more than a parcel on a map. It is often the result of generations of work and the starting point for what comes next. My team and I focus on giving clear information, honest guidance, and results that help you protect and maximize what you have. If you are buying, selling, or planning ahead with land, I would be glad to talk through your goals and options.
