HILLSIDE MEADOW

When you picture the Catskills, this property is exactly what you probably envision. Accessed from a country road, a farm road climbs through a tree lined meadow to reach a hilltop with sweeping views down the valley and across to neighboring hills. This is 11.7 acres that is currently part of a larger parcel, and seller is open to negotiating the acreage a bit for the new owner - nothing is officially subdivided yet. The current proposed division gives this parcel better than 650 feet or road frontage and an existing drive, with the opportunity to create access from other points along the road. Right outside the village of Treadwell, handy to Delhi and Oneonta, this property would be a breathtaking homesite. A secondary electric line runs through the property, so the cost of running electric to the highest parts of the property should be much more reasonable than installing poles from the road. If views and peace are what you're looking for, Turnpike Road is worth a visit.
