326 W Colorado St, La Grange

OPEN HOUSE Sunday, November 1st, 11 AM - 2 PM

Steps from La Grange's historic square, this Victorian blends bygone grace with modern comfort. Soaring ceilings, windows, transoms, original doors and knobs, and an acid-etched front door with its original doorbell recall the home's past. Real wood floors down, engineered wood up, beadboard ceilings and molding add warmth. The den flows into dining and an eat-in kitchen with updated cabinetry, granite, stainless appliances and a bar fashioned from original wood, nails and cheesecloth. Updated baths offer walk-in showers, vanities and tile floors. Updates include electrical, plumbing, 2 HVAC systems, metal roof, alarm and Rhino Shield exterior. Beyond the wrought-iron fence, a pool and pool house added in 2013 create an escape. The detached 2.5-car garage includes a 625-SF apartment, built in 2015, with bar and full bath-ideal for guests, a studio or retreat. Residential & Commercial zoning opens possibilities for a residence, weekend retreat, hospitality concept or creative business.
