The Little Thompson Water District is the water provider for Range View Estates. The Little Thompson Water District was created for the purpose of providing water facilities and services for the inhabitants of the District in 1961. They began serving domestic water to a 300-square mile area in Larimer, Weld and Boulder counties in 1962. The service area is generally bounded by the City of Loveland on the north, Longs Peak Water District on the south, the City of Greeley, the South Platte River and the St. Vrain River on the east, and the foothills on the west. It expanded to include the former Arkins Water Association in 1999 and the Town of Mead in 2002.
Weld County is also an important area of oil and natural gas production.
History
Range View Estates is located in Northern Colorado, Weld County which is home to charming small towns, thriving cities and approximately 4,000 square miles of wide-open skies and beautiful mountain views. Location

The Town Of Mead is near Berthoud, Colorado, just 40 minutes south of Fort Collins, 30 minutes north of Denver and about 45 minutes from Denver International Airport. Boulder is about 40 minutes away and is home to the University of Colorado Buffaloes.
