Coal Creek, Colorado has a cool mountain-foothills climate characterized by four distinct seasons, relatively low humidity, and significant day-to-night temperature swings due to its elevation. Winters are cold and snowy, with temperatures often falling below freezing and regular snowfall from late fall through early spring. Summers are generally mild and pleasant, with warm afternoons and cool evening, and only occasional days exceeding 80°F

From Highway 93 , it’s just a short 15 minute drive up Coal Creek Canyon to Twin Spruce Road. Under 30 minutes to Central Boulder, and 45 minutes to Downtown Denver.
