With plenty of public land BLM, US Forest and State lands in the unit, and with just a few miles from the San Francisco Mountains, The Mesita and Eagle Peak Wilderness, there is plenty of hunting opportunities within a few miles of the property.
The size of the property and a few improvements may allow the new owner. To submit an application to obtain one, possibly two, elk permits under the NMDGF, EPLUS small contributing ranch program.
