2.57 Acres W/ House- White County, GA

If you appreciate an older home with a little history and room to spread out, this one is worth a look. Built in 1901, this four-bedroom, three-bath home sits on 2.57 acres. The front half of the home was once a feed and seed store, and an old railroad used to run beside the house. It’s a place with a story to tell.

A lot of work has been done over the last 24 months, including improvements to the ceilings, walls, floors, plumbing, and electrical, along with brand-new central heating and air. There’s also a wood heater to enjoy on a cold winter day. There is still some work to be done, but the improvements already made give the next owner a good starting point to continue updating the home and make it their own.

Outside, you’ll find a 26x32 shop complete with a concrete floor, room for a garden, a chicken coop ready for your chickens, and a storm cellar behind the house. There is a well on the property, and city water runs by the home. An older mobile home is tucked away on the property and is considered to have no value.

With its interesting past, recent improvements, and a little acreage, this property has plenty to offer someone willing to put their own touch on it. For more information, a copy of the recent survey and aerial map, or to schedule a visit, contact Jacob Bowen at 678-858-0382.
