Winter outdoor activities offer ice fishing , cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
The Horsehead Lake Association is a non-profit group of property owners dedicated to preserve and enhance the environmental and recreational quality and safety for all 3 lakes. Summer activities include the July 4th boat parade and outstanding fireworks display, fishing contests and the Annual family picnic/association meeting. The HLA is one of the most active/fun lake associations in Mecosta County.
