Dairy Lane Farm

Charming old dairy farm located on the edge of Pittsylvania County in between Danville & South Boston. This property has it all with a mix of open crop land, fields, and young planted pine. Sutherlin has always been known as a farming hotspot, but the soil on this particular farm from its past really make it special for crop and tree farming alike. Recent years have produced some unbelievable crops and the planted pines are jumping already!

Approximately 120 AC of the Dairy Lane Farm was professionally site prep sprayed in 2022 then planted with loblolly pine in 2023. There are small acreages of buffers, or SMZs, that were left from the last harvest. Whitetail deer sign is evident everywhere and there is good access to various points on the farm. There are some farm buildings and structures that are being sold as-is.

A survey for the Dairy Lane Farm was completed at the end of 2020. The survey shows 209.13 AC, but there is a potential 1 AC cut off in progress with a neighbor. The survey shows over 400' of road frontage on Rocksprings Road & plentiful frontage on the private Dairy Lane. This property is within 13 miles of downtown Danville, 11 miles of Milton, & 22 miles of South Boston.
