Emily's Chicken Coop

Emily’s Chicken Coop is a four-house broiler farm located in the Aroney community of southern DeKalb County, Alabama, near Boaz. This well-maintained farm was built in 2016 and features four 66x600 Mega Houses under contract with Pilgrim’s Pride Guntersville complex. The farm raises a 6.5 lb bird on a 51-day grow out and averages 5.5 flocks per year, making it a strong and consistent producer. In 2024, the farm grossed $597,923.
The houses are fully equipped with Choretime C2 Plus feeders and drinkers, LB White brooders and tube heaters, LED lights, and Rotem Platinum Plus controllers. Two Taylor Made 150KW generators provide backup power, and the houses include solid interior and exterior walls, chain walls, and metal knee braces.
