New York mostly wooded with timber, trails, stream and beaver pond for sale.  The property is entirely forested except for the stream and beaver pond areas.  The forest is comprised of soft maple, hemlock, cherry, hard maple, white pine, beech, birch and more.  The property has a history of forest management and there is currently about 1,725,050 boardfeet of timber, International ¼” log rule, on the property providing opportunities for an immediate return on investment.The extensive network of old logging roads and trails provide tremendous access throughout the property.  The internal road system extends across the tributary to Scriba Creek along the west side of the tract, providing full access to the land north of the creek and beaver pond area.  Most roads and trails are suitable for use by ATV or side by side and provide easy access for hunting or hiking.The mix of hardwood and softwood species provides excellent cover, bedding and feeding areas for the deer, turkey and grouse found here.  Deer trails, rubs and scrapes are evident throughout while turkey sign is evident in the hemlock/white pine roost areas adjacent to hardwood cover.   The tributary stream to Scriba Creek that flows through has been dammed by beaver in the past so there is abundant water here for hunting ducks and geese.   More water could be added during the duck season by adding temporary baffles to the culvert crossing on the interior road.Besides the excellent hunting and recreational opportunities here, the property is within 5 miles of Oneida Lake for swimming, boating and fishing, close to the area snowmobile trails and within 10 miles of I-81.  The land is suitable to build a home or camp in a nice, quiet area that is still close to all the amenities. The property has two separate legs of road frontage; one that is about 490 feet in length and the other about 470 feet on Salt Road.  Electric is available at the road front.
