ABOUT THE AREA:

Gaudette townhsip is an unorganized township located Northeast of Sault Ste Marie.

The closest town would be the town of Searchmont.

Searchmond is best know for its ski hill.

But it is also famous in the winter months for its snowmobile community.

The snowmobile trails throughout Searchmont have over 250 miles of marked trails which include Hiawatha Highlands, Old Goulais Bay Road, and Old Christina Mine Trail.

SAULT STE MARIE:

Once you cross the border from Michigan (also called Sault Ste Marie) you enter Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.

Sault Ste Marie is the third-largest city in Northern Ontario after Sudbury and Thunder Bay, it is located on the St. Mary's River.

The subject property is located just 45 minutes North of the city.

ACCESS:

THERE IS NO ROAD TO THIS PROPERTY

THERE IS A WALKING /ATV TRAIL from the travelled gravel road to this property.

The WALKING /ATV TRAIL crosses another owners property.

The walking trail at the Southern Part of the property runs through private property and at this time we have not confirmed with the neighbours that we are allowed to use the trail. Without the use of this trail you will have to access the property from the North via Crown Land.

CREEKS:

The creeks running through the property bring all sorts of wildlife. Some sightings from the previous owner has included moose, black bear, Wolf, fox, rabbit and partridge (grouse). The creek is a great source of Speckled Trout in the spring. The property also has a pasture that would work great for a hobby farm or start your own pine (Christmas tree) farm.

FISHING:

Within an hour’s drive of the property you have amazing fishing sites that you can create memories with your family and catch the “big one” to have bragging rights over your fishing buddies.

Lakes such as Ranger Lake and the many rivers and streams that feed Lake Superior provide world class fishing that includes Northern Pike, Walleye (Yellow Pickerel), Lake Trout, Brook / Speckled Trout, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Chinook and Pink Salmon, Whitefish and Great Lakes Muskellunge (Muskie).
