82 Acres In Jackson Parish, LA

INTRODUCING THE JACKSON 82 IN QUITMAN, LOUISIANA. This 82± acre hunting and timber investment tract offers a good combination of recreational opportunities and
established timber. The Jackson Parish property consists primarily of a mature pine plantation that was recently thinned lightly, leaving plenty of timber on the tract and continued potential for future timber income. A 2.5± acre cypress pond provides a nice feature for the property and an opportunity to catch a few ducks during the season. The Jackson 82 offers good deer and turkey hunting, with a band of mature hardwoods running along the entire west side of the property. These hardwoods
include mature oak trees that provide wildlife habitat and seasonal food sources. Additional pockets of hardwood timber scattered through the center of the tract add diversity and create more opportunities for wildlife movement and hunting. The Jackson 82 lies just west of the Dugdemona River. With its combination of pine timber, mature hardwoods, and a cypress pond, the Jackson 82 offers the makings of a solid hunting tract with long-term timber investment potential. Access is currently provided by a logging road off Blalock Road. The property does not have deeded access.
